The FT-QSFPPLUS-2 is a single-port 40 Gigabit Ethernet network adapter from F-tone Networks, built around the Intel XL710-BM1 controller. It links servers to 40GbE fabrics through one QSFP+ cage, with per-port data rates of 40, 10 and 1 GbE over 40GBASE-SR4/LR4 optics, AOCs or DACs. The PCIe v3.0 x8 host interface runs at 8.0 GT/s, and iSCSI plus NFS support converges LAN and storage traffic on one card. With low-profile and full-height bracket options, the card fits standard and compact server chassis in data center and enterprise deployments.
