FT-4161 100 GHz Polarization Maintaining DWDM (Mux/Demux)
The FT-4161 is a polarization maintaining dense wavelength division multiplexer built on environmentally stable thin film filter technology. It adds or drops DWDM channels on the 100 GHz ITU grid for OADM and Mux/Demux communication systems, holding center wavelength accuracy to plus/minus 0.05 nm with a 0.22 nm passband. Maximum insertion loss is 1.0 dB per transmission channel and minimum adjacent-channel isolation reaches 30 dB, while the module handles up to 500 mW of continuous optical power. PM Panda fiber keeps polarization states stable, and the package operates from 0 to +70 degrees Celsius with storage down to -40 degrees, suiting metro and long-haul deployments.
