FT-40KM-3 C-Band Tunable Dispersion Compensation Module (TDCM)

The FT-40KM-3 is a C-band tunable dispersion compensation module built for longer spans, correcting dispersion of DWDM signals after extended fiber transmission. It compensates -40 to +40 km of fiber with a ±800 ps/nm dispersion tuning range, supporting 100 GHz-spaced channels across 1528-1568 nm with 36-45 GHz operating bandwidth. Tuning stability stays within -5 to 5 ps/nm for consistent long-term behavior. The 1U frame uses LC/UPC connectors and runs on AC 85-264 V or DC 36-72 V at up to 50 W. It fits backbone and regional DWDM links that need wider per-span compensation.
