FT-20KM-108 1-Video 2-Data 2-Audio Bi-Directional Fiber Optic Multiplexer (20 km)
The FT-20KM-108 multiplexes 1 bi-directional video channel, 2 bi-directional data channels and 2 bi-directional audio channels onto one single-mode fiber for up to 20 km. The transmitter/receiver pair digitizes composite video with 8-bit uncompressed transmission at 1310/1550 nm within a 12 dB optical power budget. PAL, NTSC and SECAM video connect over 75 ohm BNC at 6.5 MHz bandwidth with video SNR above 67 dB. Two data paths support RS485 (2- or 4-wire), RS232/422 and contact closure up to 115.2 Kbps at 10E-9 bit error rate; two audio paths operate at 600 ohm balanced or unbalanced with SNR above 80 dB. Standalone units run from -45 to +75 C with LED status and immunity to EMI, RFI and ground loops.
