FT-127MM-14 0.01 µm ADS Silicon Oxide Fiber Polishing Film
The FT-127MM-14 is a 0.01 µm ADS fiber polishing film designed for the final polishing step of fiber connector end faces. Silicon oxide abrasive particles are evenly coated on a flexible 127 mm (5 inch) substrate, giving submicron precision for a superior surface finish. The flexible backing follows fine curved surfaces during lapping, while positioned polishing saves abrasive material. Suitable for dry, water or oil polishing, the film is widely used for optical fiber pins, ferrules and other precision parts. Each disc ships as a single 127 mm piece ready for polishing machines and hand lapping fixtures.
